A holder of TEM -8 and ACCA affiliate, Yolanda graduated from Shanghai International Studies University with academic excellence in both English and her major in accounting. During her undergraduate years, she became interested in social sciences and gender studies and studied Feminist Political Economy at SOAS, University of London. After graduation, she joined ARTeFACT and was involved in the production of the documentary film Better Angels and the documentary series A Long Cherished Dream and Best of All Worlds.
